Key insights include the dominance of Airbyte in data ingestion for small/medium-sized businesses and enterprises, dbt's popularity in data transformation, Snowflake and BigQuery leading in data warehouses, and a growing interest in reverse ETL tools like Hightouch and Census. The research also highlights popular community influencers and resources such as newsletters, podcasts, and YouTube channels. With plans to expand the survey annually, this study aims to provide valuable insights into the evolving landscape of data engineering.
