Enabling Telco Transformation with Transactional Analytics
The telecommunications industry is undergoing significant transformation due to the increasing demand for data among consumers and businesses. As a result, service providers (SPs) are facing new challenges and opportunities in terms of technology, industry standards and regulations, and business models. To address these changes, SPs need to leverage transactional analytics, which involves integrating analytics with transactional processes to enable real-time decision making. This approach can help SPs achieve breakthrough cost savings and capital intensity while maintaining or increasing their scale across three strategic areas: networks, customer-centricity, and digital innovation. To successfully implement telco digitalization strategies, the analytics process must be tightly integrated with transaction processing systems using a Hybrid Transactional/Analytical Processing (HTAP) architecture.
