Aerospike Database 5.7: Operational, Query, and Security Enhancements

Aerospike has announced the release of version 5.7, focusing on operational improvements and performance enhancements, particularly for query performance. The update includes changes to secondary indexes, which now use direct references instead of digests, reducing server memory footprint and simplifying configuration. Additionally, resilience capabilities have been extended and improved in cloud environments, with new configuration and sanity checks, as well as run-time circuit breakers. Security enhancements include file access control based on Linux user associations, PKI authentication support, and fast encryption key rotation. Other minor updates include storage compression library upgrades, a new unreplicated records statistic, and changes to the "info" command.
