100ms offers interactive live streaming with features like chat and emoji reactions, allowing for near-real-time interactions between streamers and viewers in large rooms (up to ~10k participants). Timed Metadata is a key feature that enables attaching metadata to specific timestamps in the HLS live stream. This allows information to be perfectly synchronized with audio and video frames, ensuring all viewers receive the metadata at the same moment relative to the stream. Supported devices include desktop and mobile browsers (both Android and iOS), as well as native Android and iOS applications. The Timed Metadata feature can be used for various use cases such as enhancing live shopping experiences, displaying names and profiles of speakers in panel discussions, advertising and promotional materials during events, and conducting timed polls and quizzes to increase viewer engagement.
